We are one of Australasia's leading telecommunications contracting services companies. We design, build, supply and maintain wireless, fibre and copper networks and products for the region's leading operators.

Cellular - Our scope includes civil design, construction, technical implementation and equipment supply including both traditional macro and IBC (in building coverage) networks (shopping centers, office buildings, stadiums etc).

Transmission/Fibre/Copper - Our scope includes installation, commissioning and break/fix of transmission networks including PDH, SDH and IP network elements from Exchange/cabinet to CPE. Skilled staff are also able to splice and test a wide range of optical network elements.

Sky Communications is part of the Electra Group of companies, which employs +100 staff, owns assets of approximately $270 million and has a turnover of $80 million NZD. Sky Communications employs 85 staff and has a turnover of approximately $25 million.

Our clients include Vodafone, Telecom, 2Degrees, Digicel, TelstraClear, NSN, Alcatel-Lucent, Huawei, Ericsson, Woosh Wireless and many others throughout Australasia and the Pacific.

Health & Safety

We place a premium on safety and are proud of our record in this area. In the last quarter alone we have had over 50 people working on a challenging project in the Solomon Islands with minimal incidents in an extremely challenging environment. We operate a comprehensive Health and Safety Management plan which all employees and contractors must abide by. Sub-contracting companies must also meet minimum safety requirements before we will work them.

We also operate stringent safety measures to ensure the wellbeing of the general public around our work sites and are ISO 9000 accredited. Audits are conducted by a qualified external OSH auditor to confirm our OSH management compliance. Sky Communications has Secondary Level ACC Accreditation.
